Where to stay near Yanchep

Henry White Oval is the official bookable campground inside Yanchep National Park. Book parkstay.dbca.wa.gov.au only — this unofficial site never affiliates Park Stay, never sells the camping fee, and never treats vacant grass as overflow day parking. Sleep in Yanchep town (closest), Two Rocks, the Joondalup / Wanneroo corridor, or treat Perth as a genuine early-start day-trip. Yanchep Inn is heritage commercial lodging inside the park — a different operator and a different till from Henry White.

Some stay, tour and gear links may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Park fees, Parks Passes, Crystal Cave tickets and official Park Stay bookings are never affiliated.

Families

Yanchep town or a booked Henry White night beats a “quiet” stay that adds another tired-kid highway. Koala boardwalk + picnic ovals is the family product. Do not occupy a campsite as a day carpark.

Ghost House / early Walk Safe

Sleep in Yanchep town, Two Rocks, or a booked Henry White site if you want Walk Safe at McNess opening. Confirm McNess hours [VERIFY] — commonly ~9.15 am–4.30 pm daily. Do not assume a 4 pm Walk Safe.

Perth day-trip

You do not need a Yanchep hotel. You need an early start, water, and time for the drive home. Optional: Perth stays if you are combining this with a city trip (Booking.com affiliate).

Inside the park

Henry White Oval — official Park Stay

Unpowered grass and hardstand with showers. Planning figures from the Explore Parks camping-fees additional-facilities band (page last updated 24 Jun 2026, re-checked 26 Aug 2026): Adult $20 / Concession $15 / Child 6–15 $5 per person per night plus vehicle entry. [VERIFY] the live dollar on Park Stay. Maximum 7 nights. Drinking water is not guaranteed. Day visitors use picnic ovals — not booked campsites. See Henry White area and don’t treat it as a day carpark.

Yanchep Inn (heritage commercial lodging, public histories often cite 1936) is sheets and a verandah, not a tent pad. Book with the Inn operator — not this website, and not Park Stay.

Gateway commercial stays

Booking.com searches below may earn a commission. They are town stays, not park camping and not Inn bookings. Card photos are place-context images — not the specific hotels on Booking.com. See affiliate disclosure.

Fuel, food, medical — town and McNess, not the ruins

There is no assumed fuel, supermarket or clinic on Ghost House or Coastal Plain. Fill in Yanchep or Two Rocks. Chocolate Drops is a commercial kiosk in the visitor precinct — useful, not a water strategy for kilometre 8. No invented prices.

Families

Last easy food and fuel is Yanchep town (Two Rocks if you want a coastal hop). McNess toilets when open — not a supermarket. Picnic ovals are the family reset. Do not picnic on a booked Henry White site.

Early / peak starts

Fill the night before Ghost House or a booked cave. Screenshot alerts.dbca.wa.gov.au and emergency.wa.gov.au on Wi-Fi. Do not count on the kiosk as breakfast from Perth.
