Koala boardwalk
Area: McNess House & visitor precinct
Guide updated · verify live track status with Explore Parks WA / DBCA
Short boardwalk to a small managed koala colony in the visitor precinct. Weekend and school-holiday queues are the failure mode. Daily talks have been suspended at times — [VERIFY] animals and talks on the day. Do not treat this as wild bush koala tracking.
Do not pair: Do not pair a 40-minute koala queue with a 5-hour Ghost House start after 11 am.
Turnaround: Boardwalk is short. Leave when the group is done. Do not invent a second circuit through vegetation.
